Rarities in Trondheimsfjord
Siberian Tit - Levanger - november the 7th 2010. Photo: Terje Kolaas / www.bird.dintur.no
For beeing november, the last weeks have been extra ordinary in the Trondheimsfjord-area. Since October the 19th a Stilt Sandpiper - a third for Norway - has been present only 5 minutes from the Trondheim Airport. The bird is still there.

Yesterday another local rarity, a Siberian Tit, showed up on one of our feeding stations. Normally you have to go further east in the country to see these amazing birds.
The major Pine Grosbeak and Waxwing invations are visible here as well, and the chance of finding them are good these days.
