Excellent birding at Trondheimsfjord

A few photos from the Trondheimsfjord. All photos from the last two weeks.

Rodent situation is good, so Tengmalms, Pygmy and Northern Hawk Owls breed in good numbers. Grouses, such as Black Grouse, Capercaillie and Hazel grouse has been numberous this year, with daily counts of around 30 for Black Grouse and Capercaillie at certain locations.

Slavonian Grebes and divers have just started theire breeding as well.

A group of UK-birdwatchers counted 124 species on the destination staying from May 7th - May 11th - Hazel Grouse, Hawk Owl, Siberian Jay and Three-toed Woodpecker included.
